WARMTH AND COMFORT FOR THE ELDERLY 2024 DRIVES
January- Snow Days
We will collect hot chocolate boxes, coffee pods, single serving tea bags, winter themed coasters, snow globes, stuffed snowmen or anything else pertaining to snow days and keeping warm. Due by Jan 10
February-Valentine cards
These cards may be purchased, or hand made. Invite schools, Sunday school classes, children and grandchildren to help. The elderly love the cards from children the best. Due by Feb. 10
March-Easter and St. Patrick’s Day
We will collect Easter cards and St. Patrick’s Day themed items such as party hats, shamrock décor. Due Mar. 10
April-Activities items
We will collect adult and children’s coloring books with spring themes, colored pencil packets, glue sticks, construction paper, crossword puzzle books, large print Bibles, large print books, finger paints, and magazines. Due April 10
May-Snack Drive
Boxes of popcorn, chocolate melt away candy like kisses, lemonade mix, small packages of chips and cookies. Please no nuts or peanut butter items due to allergies . Due May 10
June-Toiletries Drive
Hand lotions, body lotions, deodorant, shampoos, conditions. Small sizes only. Due June 10
July-Summer/Beach Days Drive
Beach themed Music CD’s, Hawaiian shirts, leis, plastic coconut or pineapple cups, Hawaiian Punch, or anything pertaining to beach and summer fun. Due July 10
August-Bibs, Walker Bags, and wheelchair bags Drive
We will collect purchased or handmade items that residents need. We will also accept fabric that we can use to make them. Due August 10

September-November-Items of warmth Drive
We collect blankets, throws, socks, shawls, lap quilts, gloves, and scarves, new or hand made. Due Nov. 10
December-Christmas Drive
This year we will collect small gifts for each resident. Please select something from the following list and place in a small Christmas bag. Items include a notepad, pen, small toiletries such as lotions and shampoos and conditioners, costume jewelry, comb, brush, Kleenex packets, socks, chocolate kisses, etc. Mark bag as male or female. You may collect items for bag gifts or do the bag gift yourself. Due Dec. 10.
Always collecting dolls for dementia, toiletries, new pajamas, old magazines, bottles of fingernail polish. These are the most requested items from facilities year-round. We also take monetary donations to purchase what is not collected or for any need that arises from the facilities.
